Lord, why not me?
I have been waiting and searching to see,
Where in this life You want me to be.
And what in this world You want of me.
Lord, why not me?
I'm fighting hard to keep standing.
If it wasn't for You, I would not be.
And help me to see the future You are planning.
Lord, why not me?
I've been patiently waiting and praying,
For You to open my heart to the one, who's for me,
Before my hair will be graying.
Lord, why not me?
I pray on bended knees for the time,
When You in glory I will see.
Yet, is longing for you such a crime?
Lord, why not me?
What is the reason, that I don't have clarity?
Is there something in my life that You want me to see?
For I want to have clarity in You for eternity.
