It's a blessing to know,

You are helping others to grow.

More like Jesus you try to be,

And more like you is what we need.

I Found A Friend

I Found A Friend

I found a special friend,

One who knows me to the end.

She came to Blue Creek one day,

And I didn't know what to say!

She looked scared and utterly shy,

If I would do something wrong, she would fly.

I tiptoed around her at first,

Just to make sure her bubble wouldn't burst.

I watched her closely when she came around,

To see if a tear could be found.

Her heart was closed up and locked,

And I made it my job to find a key to that lock!

It didn't take long to get in,

And it felt like in Blue Creek she had always been.

Now I don't know what I'm going to do,

Cause I'm leaving a friend oh so true.

You, my friend, I do Love,

I thank my heavenly Father from above,

For sending me a friend who understands

Who helps me up with an out stretched hand!

I hope I can repay, for what you have done for me,

And for teaching me thank you and please.

I look up to you, Suz, and hope someday to be,

As good as a friend you have been to me.

Life Full Of Trials

Life is full of trials which last a short while.

When it feels like an unending road, it might be but a mile.

There is no promise that life will be without pain,

One promise there is, in Jesus we have everything to gain.

So many times in life we feel mistreated and in despair.

I then think back to Jesus' death which was anything but fair.

We were not born to live a life full of riches and fame,

But to help make sure no one is lost in Jesus' name.

So when you are hurting and feel all hope is gone,

Think of all those who will not make it to heaven once this world is done.

Then do your best while you still can,

For Jesus came to seek and to safe all fellow man!

I dedicated this poem to my Sister Lina.

Home is Heaven

I'm here but a season,

And live life for a reason.

I've Christ's model to uphold

For He is pure Gold.

Our Journey leads to heaven,

Maybe even on the seventh.

Don't need to pay offerings.

Christ did by His suffering!

All there is left for me,

Is to accept and believe,

That I'm a sinner.

And with Him, I'm a winner.

Yes, there are hard times I face,

But I stand through anything by His Grace!

My love for Him grows,

And my heart over flows.

I try to share with my friends,

That with Him there is no end.

Eternity is my home,

And that's the end of my poem!
