Lord, We Lift Carolyn, Our Friend To You

Lord, we lift our friend to you,

She is in great pain and needs Your embrace.

Lord we lift her up to You,

She will only make it through Your grace.

We fear we won't have the words she needs to hear,

We pray for Your wisdom O God, through her many questions why.

Help us show through the love we give and shedding of our tears,

That You have everything in control and You have the answers why.

Complicated and grieving circumstances have clouded her life.

Lord, we lift her up into Your hands,

To carry her through her grieving loss and strife,

And Lord, we ask that in time, her heart You'll mend.

 Lord, we lift our best friend Carolyn up to You,

And we know only Your love will heal the hole in her heart.

May your arms of love and comfort surround her and keep her near You,

 As Your peace fills her and reveals who You are.

Her heart longs to hold him in her arms once more,

To see the smiling face and hear his singing voice throughout the day.

To once more brighten her day as she hears his laughter coming through the door,

And to tell him, I love you as he goes on his way.

Seeing her in so much pain, is more then we can take.

Lord, give her strength to take one day at a time in You.

Help her to see You have him by Your side and in a better place.

Lord, we send this prayer up to you!

Friends are treasures,

Which can't be measured.

To be a friend is our command,

To walk together hand in hand.

Through all the hard times we face,

One great encouragement is that we’ll 

 always have God’s grace.

So once again, my great friend,

Thanks for always lending a helping hand.

You've been there for it all,

Even when it was just a call.

Thanks, my dear Friend,

For being there to the end.

It's been a joy to have gotten to know you,

And your friendship I'll always treasure.

To your family and friends you stay true,

Which is love given without measure.

You're always ready to give a helping hand and a smile,

And when it comes to children, for them you'll always find time.

Your positive attitude makes everything you do seem worthwhile.

This makes life's decision easier for lifetime.

I work not at a fancy place, but at my dad's store.

I love working for him, caz I see him as my dear friend.

The Lord  is calling me for service and open are many doors,

So my life could change in a heartbeat, it all depends.

Life is unfair and full of pain,

Yet you've shown me there is reason for laughter.

Once Jesus Christ comes, we have everything to gain.

Life in eternity in heaven ever after.

Love is more then just a spark,

It can't be carried in a cart.

 Two people is all it takes

For love to fly through the gates.

Love is much more then just a feeling,

Yet in books that's all you'll be reading.

True love lasts a life time,

Through fears, tears, and happiness of many kinds.

True love is seeing the sadness or laughter which hides behind a smile.

And always ready to walk the extra mile.

Love is honesty and trust put together,

And love lives on in our hearts forever.

By your help all my sins are paid and gone.

Show me how to shine my light for others to see

How wonderful and mighty you are,

Show me the plans you have for me,

The servant you want me to be.

I hope your prayer and hopes come true.

I see all the dreams and love you want to share,

And I pray God will send you someone who deserves your care.

When I see you,

I know God has big plans for you

For I see your heart longs for truth,

And all God asks of us is to stay true.

When I see you,

Reach out to the sad and lonely,

I see Jesus sitting at His Father's right hand,

Smiling and saying that's my man.

When I see you,

Your eyes oh so blue,

And perfect you are not

But all that matters is for Jesus you have Fought!

When I see you,

I see a loving friend.

If I had a choice of whom to be,

You my friend is who I want to be.

I've put my heart on the shelf.

It's time to let go

And time to say no!

My life is in your hands,

File me like the sea shore sands. 

Help me to become more like you

In all I say and do.

Lord, show me your plans,

Your timing is best for man.

I only want what  you've planed for me,

So help me please to live for thee.

You're the only one I need

Help me plant a seed.

 In so many lives that don't have a care,

To show them how much you want to share.

Lord, your timing is best,

Help me not to be a pest.

Show me the one you have in sight,

Cause he's the Mr. Right.

For it will be oh so grand

To live with a friend.

I'm willing to wait for him to see

That he's the one with whom I want to be.

I'm excitingly waiting for that day

When I finally get to say,

The two sweet words, I Do, I Do.

For all I want is you!
